Mortgage Industry Veteran Tom Cronin Promoted to Partner and Managing Director
February 14, 2013. WASHINGTON, D.C. (PR WEB). Washington, DC based business advisory firm, The Collingwood Group, today announced that Tom Cronin has been promoted to Partner and Managing Director.
Cronin will continue to support the firm’s business development and business advisory activities. As the newest member of the firm’s senior leadership team, Cronin will also work to expand the firm’s mortgage servicing practice, especially as it relates to issues involving Ginnie Mae servicing and related servicing transfers.
Cronin joined the Collingwood Group as Managing Director in September 2011. “We are delighted to announce Tom’s promotion,” said Brian Montgomery, Collingwood Group Chairman and Co-Founder. “Tom’s broad experience and vast institutional knowledge of the mortgage industry have proven invaluable to Collingwood’s clients, and with addition of Tom’s strong leadership as a member of Collingwood’s senior leadership team, the firm’s growth will no doubt continue to accelerate,” Montgomery added.
Immediately prior to joining Collingwood, Cronin served as Senior Managing Director of Clayton Holdings, Inc., where he managed mortgage products and securities. Cronin also served as a Managing Director of Interactive Mortgage Advisors, LLC., and Vice Chairman at Matrix Bancorp. In addition, Cronin has held leadership positions with the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and was appointed as a Fellow of the Society of Certified Mortgage Bankers.
