From 2005 to mid-2009, Montgomery served as Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and FHA Commissioner. He was responsible for the oversight and modernization of the insurance fund's $600 billion portfolio, HUD’s regulatory responsibilities to the housing mission of the GSEs, and the manufactured housing industry. Montgomery came to HUD and FHA from the Executive Office of the President of the United States.

Prior to joining The Collingwood Group, DeGennaro was a Managing Director of a privately held boutique investment-banking firm based in New York, where he held a variety of positions both on the investment banking side and in executive management, including Managing Partner, Chief Operating Officer and head of the firm’s Restructuring Advisory Group. Earlier in his career, DeGennaro was an attorney with White & Case in New York where he worked on commercial litigation, corporate control, mergers and acquisitions, securities, bankruptcy and restructuring matters for fortune 500 companies, financial sponsors and lenders.

is Managing Director of The Collingwood Group. Prior to joining The Collingwood Group, Christy served as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations for Fannie Mae. During her career at the company, she also led the MBS trading desk and served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing in the Southwestern Region. At Fannie Mae, Christy built the investor strategy to expand equity ownership globally during an unprecedented time. She played a pivotal role in leading her organization through a multiple-year financial restatement, executive management and board of directors’ turnover, while the company managed a major credit crisis. Her IR team won several awards for the quality and service provided to the analyst community. Prior to Fannie Mae, Christy opened a three-state region for PMI Mortgage Insurance Company, and held several Secondary Marketing positions with large banks.

is Managing Director of The Collingwood Group, which she joined on January 1, 2012, following Collingwood’s acquisition of her firm, GWN Consulting. Her areas of expertise include risk analysis, FHA lender approval, project management and lender monitoring, and she is adept at conducting training for a variety of private and public sectors, completing studies and writing technical reports based on her knowledge and experience. Prior to founding GWN Consulting, Garner was a Partner and Project Director at Walker & Co., LLC, where she led the Government Services Practice. The firm had contracts with the US Dept. of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) which included compliance reviews of FHA’s Single Family claims and Ginnie Mae (as a subcontractor), single family supplemental claims processing, the MIP call center and the FHA Lender Approval’s LASS contract. She also conducted research and prepared studies and procedures for USDA’s Rural Development Single Family Loan Guarantee Program. Before joining Walker & Co., Garner was a federal government employee, serving 23 years at HUD where she held various management positions in the Quality Assurance Division and the Office of Lender Activities and Program Compliance, and was Director of the Lender Approval Division. During her public and private sector career she has planned and completed on-site compliance reviews covering loan origination, servicing, loss mitigation, claims and Ginnie Mae. At HUD she also served as the Director of Loan Guarantee for the Office of Native American Programs.

Most recently, Dr. Singh was Senior Vice President of Pricing and Securitization (Single Family) and, before that, Senior Vice President, Head of Market Risk Management for Freddie Mac. His primary responsibilities included pricing the guarantee fees under Freddie Mac’s Mortgage Backed Securities Program and the issuance of pass-thru as well as structured securities. In addition to Single-Family Sourcing, Dr. Singh worked closely with Credit Management, Investment s & Capital Markets, Credit and Counter party Risk Management, and Operations. Prior to joining Freddie Mac, Dr. Singh held executive-level positions with Bear, Stearns & Co, Lehman Brothers, Inc., and Wasserstein Perella Capital Management.

Most recently, he served as Senior Managing Director of Clayton Holdings, Inc., responsible for the areas of industry, corporate and government relations. Cronin has more than 35 years of mortgage banking experience. At Clayton Holdings, Cronin focused on the performance and oversight of mortgage products and securities focusing on benefiting investors, private issuers, mortgage servicers and all effected government sponsored enterprises and regulators. Prior to joining Clayton, Mr. Cronin was a managing member of Interactive Mortgage Advisors, LLC (IMA), a company he helped launch in 2001. Cronin also served as vice chairman at Matrix Bancorp.
For over twenty years, Cronin has held leadership posts with the Mortgage Banker’s Association (MBA), the country’s leading trade organization for the mortgage banking industry on who’s Board of Directors and Residential Board of Governors he has served. Most recently he was named Fellow of the Society of Certified Mortgage Bankers. From 1999 to 2001, he served as vice president and treasurer for the MBA. Cronin is currently a member of MBA’s Audit Committee.

Early in his career, he was Assistant Manager of CitiCorp’s North American Investment Bank in New York and Assistant Supervisor, Residential Lending Operations with The Dime Savings Bank of New York, FSB.

is Vice President, Business Development with the Collingwood Group. A seasoned mortgage banking industry professional, she brings to the organization extensive experience in origination, operations, capital markets and third party correspondent business.
Prior to joining The Collingwood Group, Gallagher held senior level account management positions with companies including American Home Mortgage, GE Capital, E*Trade, and Chase. Her in-depth understanding of the mortgage process ranges from application to closing, post-closing and servicing, and as a result of her work with large correspondent lending operations, she has developed strong expertise in establishing processes and implementing technologies critical to assist in managing growth and increasing efficiencies. Gallagher has also led numerous internal initiatives on process mapping through collaboration with the various functional groups impacted by such operational upgrades.
In her tenure as a Correspondent Lending Account Executive, Gallagher was exposed to substantial numbers of mortgage banking operations and utilizes this intelligence in analyzing and developing solutions for mortgage banking clients. In addition, as a result of her experience in loan origination processes as well as the regulatory environment, Gallagher has had successes in positively impacting loan delivery and purchase timelines resulting in significant cost savings and efficiency gains for her clients. Her knowledge of the industry, coupled with the many relationships she has built, also enable her to connect clients with relevant and appropriate potential alliance partners.
Gallagher holds a Bachelors Degree as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Villanova University, and a Juris Doctor from Temple University. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, the Mortgage Bankers Association of America and a graduate of the Association’s Future Leader’s Program.

Prior to joining Collingwood Communications, Kaufmann was president of DJK Communications, LLC, a small communications consulting firm, and from 2002-2009, she led Corporate Communications for Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.’s three US pharmaceutical subsidiaries, with responsibility for all internal and external corporate communications activities as well as public relations efforts related to pipeline and marketed products for the companies. Before Otsuka, Kaufmann spent more than 15 years in a variety of communications positions in technology/telecommunications and commercial real estate.

CPA, is Senior Director of The Collingwood Group, which he joined January 1, 2012. Prior to Collingwood, Hintz was a consultant with GWN Consulting, which he joined following his retirement after 25 years of service with the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), where he was the Secretary to the Mortgagee Review Board, responsible for the management of enforcement actions brought to the Board against FHA approved lenders. Hintz was responsible for briefing the Board members (seven HUD Assistant Secretaries), preparing notices in the Federal Register and conducting meetings with the Office of General Counsel and FHA program staff. Additionally, he represented the Office of Single Family Housing in negotiating settlements with lenders before the Board. Prior to this, he held positions as a Loan Specialist and Branch Chief in the Quality Assurance Division with responsibility for conducting and managing on-site compliance reviews of FHA approved lenders. Hintz’s areas of expertise include lender monitoring, enforcement action oversight and auditing.
